Entre el 2010 y 2012. Un libro con dedicatoria, pero extrañamente sin fecha. Me lo regaló Julián, mi amigo y colaborador fiel de esta colección. Es una edición muy bonita de tapa dura, pareciera tener pocas páginas, y usa de contra portada una imagen poco utilizada pero sin duda uno de los dibujos más significativos del libro. Gracias a Shuri, el amigo de Julián, quién escribió la dedicatoria en su nombre. El principito en hebreo. 

Dato curioso: Las letras de la portada con el título del libro están hechas de color dorado y son muy bonitas.

Between 2010 and 2012. A book with a dedicatory, but strangely without a date. It was a gift from Julian, my friend and faithful collaborator of this collection. It’s a very beautiful edition with hard cover, it seems like it has only few pages and in the inside front cover there’s a not so very used but very significative drawing of the book. Thanks to Shuri, Julian’s friend, who wrote the dedicatory in his behalf. The Little Prince in Hebrew.

Caracas, 26 de enero de 2004. Ya les he comentado antes que mi colección no sólo es de libros sino que tengo muchas otras cosas del principito, por ejemplo este cuaderno. Lo compré en las Mercedes, mi amiga María Estela me llevó a la librería/papelería que lo vendía. Recuerdo que tenían calendarios, agendas y otras cosas muy lindas pero que mi presupuesto de estudiante no me permitían.

Este es uno de mis cuadernos del principito. De lo primerito que compré para la colección :)

Caracas, January 26th, 2006. I’ve told you before that mi collection is not only books but other The Little Prince things, like this notebook. I bought it in Las Mercedes, my friend Maria Estela took me to the bookstore where they were selling it. I remember that there were also calendars, agendas y many other beautiful things that I couldn’t afford with student budget.
This is one of my The Little Prince notebooks. One of the first things that I bought for my collection.

Enero 2009. Caminaba con mi mamá, Fran, Peter y Yeli por Amsterdam y encontramos una librería genial que en la vitrina tenía varias ediciones de El Principito, no lo pensé demasiado.. compré 3 ó 4 libros (actualizaré esta información cuando termine de escanear las portadas) y entre ellos conseguí esta maravilla. El Principito en Latín. Dato curioso: Regulus que es como se llama en Latín es el nombre de la estrella más brillante de la constelación de Leo y significa «pequeño rey» — January, 2009. Abril 2006. No sé exactamente quién lo trajo porque fue un regalito sorpresa de mi mamá, es una edición pequeña y de esas que siempre puedes llevar contigo. Aprovecharé para leerlo de nuevo y practicar un poco del idioma que lo tengo olvidado. El Principito en alemán. — April, 2006. A veces me cuesta asimilar el increíble detalle de que alguien en su viaje piense en mi y se tome unos minutos -u horas no lo sé- para buscarme el libro. Es extraño que pueda recordar tantas cosas de este día, recuerdo que llovía muchísimo y (en esto puedo equivocarme, pero no me importa mucho) que íbamos a ver a una banda que nos encantaba (embas) en el Parque los Chorros que era donde se estaba haciendo la edición de la Feria del Libro ese año, el toque lo suspendieron pero yo me llevé esta belleza a casa. Agosto de 2007. Estaba con Anny y Frauke en Bélgica. Mis amados Luc y Myriam habían pasado sus vacaciones en el País Vasco y muy cariñosamente me regalaron esta edición por mi cumpleaños 22. El Principito en Euskera. — August 2007. I was with Anny and Frauke in Belgium. My beloved Luc and Myriam went to Basque Country and they gave me this edition for my 22nd birthday. The Little Prince in Basque.

Como la magia existe, y además está en todas partes suceden cosas fantásticas. En febrero de 2007 subí esta foto a mi flickr y recibí un mensaje de un contacto que me comentaba que tenía un par de ediciones y quería regalármelas, le dí mi dirección postal (asumiendo el riesgo de que no llegaran los libros jamás a Caracas) y algo así como 6 u 8 meses después llegaron dos libros. Uno es esta edición: El Principito en Serbio. 

Dato curioso: Cada inicio de capítulo tiene dibujado un principito y tiene dos estrellitas al lado de los números de página.

Since magic exists and it’s everywhere, amazing things happen. In February, 2007 I uploaded this picture to Flickr and I got a message from a contact that told me that he had a couple of editions and he wanted to give them to me. I gave him my postal adress (assuming the risk that the books could never make it to Caracas) and something like 6 or 8 months later two books arrived. One is this edition: The Little Prince in Serbian.
Curious thing: At the beginning of each chapter there is a Little Prince drawed and two little stars next to the page numbers.

Este libro debe haber llegado a mis manos entre 2003/2004. Es lo malo de tener mala memoria y de que no te dediquen los libros, que hay mucha información que pierdes. Esta edición me la regaló un amigo de quién hace años que no sé nada se llama Luis y me lo trajo de Madeira: El Principito en Portugués. — This book must have arrived between 2003 and 2004. That’s the thing about having a bad memory and having books without dedications, you miss a lot of information. This edition was a gift from a friend that I haven’t heard anything from him since a few years now. His name is Luis and he brought it to me from Madeira: The Little Prince in Portuguese.

Este libro debe haber llegado a mis manos entre 2003/2004. Es lo malo de tener mala memoria y de que no te dediquen los libros, que hay mucha información que pierdes. Esta edición me la regaló un amigo de quién hace años que no sé nada se llama Luis y me lo trajo de Madeira: El Principito en Portugués.
